Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PawRadar ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PawRadar. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Description of Service
PawRadar is a mobile application that connects dog owners for walking meetups. The App provides:
- Location-based mapping of nearby dog walkers
- Profile creation for you and your dogs
- Messaging between users
- Walk tracking and coordination
- Neighbors community features including Marketplace and Paw Sitters
Neighbors Community Features
The Neighbors feature enables users to connect with nearby dog owners for marketplace listings and pet sitting arrangements. BY USING THESE FEATURES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
Marketplace
The Marketplace allows users to list and exchange dog-related items (food, toys, accessories, etc.).
- PawRadar is a PLATFORM ONLY - we are not a party to any transaction between users
- All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers
- We do not verify the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of listings
- We do not guarantee that items are as described or fit for any purpose
- We do not handle payments, shipping, or delivery of items
- Users are solely responsible for inspecting items before purchase
- Meet in safe, public locations when exchanging items
- We are not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from marketplace transactions
BUYER BEWARE: You assume all risks associated with marketplace transactions. We strongly recommend meeting in public places and inspecting items before completing any exchange.
Paw Sitters
The Paw Sitters feature allows users to connect with others who may provide pet sitting services.
- PawRadar is a CONNECTION PLATFORM ONLY - we do not provide pet sitting services
- All arrangements are made directly between users as independent parties
- We do not employ, endorse, or certify any pet sitters
- We do not verify qualifications, backgrounds, or experience of users
- We do not set or regulate prices, terms, or conditions of arrangements
- Users are solely responsible for vetting and selecting pet sitters
- We strongly recommend conducting your own background checks
- We recommend pet sitters carry appropriate liability insurance
- We are not liable for any injury, illness, death, or loss of pets
- We are not liable for property damage or personal injury
- We are not responsible for any disputes over payment or services
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: By using Paw Sitters, you acknowledge that pet care involves inherent risks including but not limited to pet injury, illness, escape, or death. You voluntarily assume all such risks and release PawRadar from any and all claims arising from pet sitting arrangements made through the App.
NO EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP: Users providing pet sitting services are independent individuals, not employees, contractors, or agents of PawRadar. We do not control how, when, or where services are provided.
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- One person may not maintain more than one account
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Upload content that is illegal, obscene, or violates others' rights
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with the App's functionality
- Share inappropriate content involving minors or animals
- Use the App for any illegal activities
- Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited messages
User Content
Your Content
- You retain ownership of content you post, including photos
- By posting, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content to provide the service
- You represent that you have rights to all content you post
- You are responsible for your content
Photos and Media
- You may upload photos of yourself, your dogs, and your walks
- Do not upload photos containing inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
- Do not upload photos of others without their consent
- We may remove photos that violate these Terms
Prohibited Content
Do not post content that:
- Contains hate speech or discriminatory language
- Promotes violence or illegal activities
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Exploits or harms minors or animals
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so.
Location Sharing
Consent
By starting a walk, you consent to sharing your real-time location with other App users.
Safety
- Always prioritize personal safety when meeting users
- We are not responsible for in-person interactions
- Report suspicious behavior immediately
- Meet in public places when possible
Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by PawRadar and protected by intellectual property laws.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including:
- Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and cloud storage
- Apple Sign In for authentication
- Google Maps for mapping features
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
No Guarantees
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Accuracy of user-provided information
- Safety of in-person meetups
- Compatibility with all devices
User Interactions
We are not responsible for:
- Interactions between users
- Conduct of users offline
- Accuracy of user profiles
- Safety of dog walking meetups
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAWRADAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USER INTERACTIONS.
TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE APP (IF ANY).
Safety and Reporting
Report Abuse
If you encounter inappropriate content, harassment, threats, suspicious behavior, or animal abuse, contact us immediately at: support@concept99group.app
Blocking Users
You can block users who make you uncomfortable through the app settings.
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Update the App without notice
- Change these Terms (with notice to users)
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Termination
By You
You may delete your account at any time through app settings.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Harm to other users or the service
- Extended periods of inactivity
By using PawRadar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
